How to stop auto updates in windows 10!!!!

Have you recently updated your windows 10? If you have then you might have been confused about how to stop auto updates like of windows 7/8. I don't know much about auto update benefits but it is really irritating and annoying every time  we start our computer. Whenever we start or restart our pc it says"Please donot turn off while we configure" or something like that. Another disadvantage of it is that it keeps updating itself which slows down our internet speed. So, in my point of view you should get rid of it.
In windows 7/8 it is much easier to stop auto update. All you have to do is go to the control panel and select the windows update. And in windows update setting we can disable auto update features. In case of windows 10 it is quite tricky since we cannot disable auto update feature. It doesn't allow you to disable it instead  wants you to download new updates frequently which they provide. So, today I am going to teach you the easiest way to stop auto updates.

Step 1: In the right bottom corner click the wifi icon button.





Step 2: Then click the network settings.






Step 3: You will see the list of wifi and just below it there is Advance option. Click the Advance option.



Step 4: You can see "Make this pc discoverable" and "Metered connection" options. Just turn on the metered connection and close it.




This turning on metered connection will help you to stop auto updates in your laptop or pc.
